Bike Transport

Your bike isn't just a vehicle, it's the one you don't trust to just anyone.

We've shipped everything from a college kid's first Activa to a fully-loaded cruiser someone spent years customising. The worry is always the same — a scratched tank, a bent lever, a chain that's rusted because it sat uncovered on an open truck for a week. We crate, cover, and secure every bike properly, whether it's a daily commuter or something you'd rather not risk on the highway yourself.

Why It Matters

A bike isn't built to survive a truck ride the way it survives a road.

Bikes move around during transit in a way cars simply don't. They're light, they're top-heavy, and if they're not held upright and locked in place, even a few hours on the highway can leave a dent, a cracked mirror, or a scraped fairing. That's the main difference in how we handle bike transport compared to cars — every bike gets wheel-clamped or wheel-chocked so it can't tip, and where the route or bike value calls for it, we crate it in wood so it travels fully enclosed, untouched by weather or anything else on the truck.

Before pickup, we go over the bike with you — existing scratches, the odometer reading, whether the battery terminal needs disconnecting for a longer trip, fuel level in the tank. It's written down and photographed, not just remembered. Mirrors and indicators that stick out get removed or taped down if the crate needs it, and we hand everything back at delivery, no missing bolts, no "we'll courier it to you later."

Wooden Crating on Request

Full wooden crate packing for premium or customised bikes that need complete protection from the elements.

Wheel-Locked, Not Just Tied Down

Bikes are clamped or chocked upright so they can't tip or shift, unlike a rope thrown over the seat.

Condition Noted Before Pickup

Photos and a written check of scratches, odometer, and fuel level, so nothing's left to memory.

Our Process

How your bike actually gets from A to B

Straightforward on your side — a bit more careful on ours. Here's the rough sequence for most bike transport bookings.

01

Booking
Share your bike model, pickup and drop city, and whether you'd like crating done.

02

Inspection & packing
We photograph the bike, note the odometer, and crate or wrap it as agreed.

03

Loading & transit
Wheel-locked and secured on the carrier, with updates on where it is along the way.

04

Delivery
Uncrated at your address, checked against the pickup report with you, and handed over.

Every Kind of Rider

Daily commuters, weekend cruisers, and everything a collector won't drive on the highway

A lot of our bookings are people relocating for work who'd rather not do a two-day highway ride on their own bike, especially if it's their only vehicle and they need it as soon as they land. We also get calls from riders who've bought a bike from another state and don't want to risk a long solo ride to bring it home. And then there are the collectors — vintage or heavily modified bikes that just shouldn't be ridden on unfamiliar roads, where full crating is really the only sensible option.

If you're also shifting your household at the same time, we can usually schedule the bike on the same truck or run it alongside so you're not managing two separate bookings and two separate worries.

Good To Know

A few things worth sorting out before pickup

Keep RC and ID Ready

You'll need to share the RC at booking and be present, or authorise someone, at pickup and delivery.

Battery Terminal for Long Routes

On longer interstate runs, we may disconnect the battery terminal to avoid it draining or shorting during transit.

FAQs

Questions people usually ask before booking a bike transport

Is crating compulsory for every bike?

No, it's optional. Standard bikes usually travel wheel-locked and covered. Crating is recommended for premium, vintage, or heavily customised bikes that need full protection.

How long does interstate bike delivery take?

Usually between 3 and 7 days depending on distance and route. We confirm a realistic window at the time of booking rather than a best-case estimate.

What happens if a part goes missing during transit?

Removed parts like mirrors are logged at pickup and returned at delivery. If anything doesn't match the pickup report, it's covered under the transit insurance we offer.

Can I ship two bikes together to save cost?

Yes, multiple bikes on the same route can often share a carrier, which usually works out cheaper per bike than booking them separately.
